A Few Featured Artists
Honour Mack: Mack's pieces focus on compositional themes and color relationships. He teaches at the Maine College of Art.
Leonard Baskin: Born in 1922, Leonard Baskin was an accomplished sculptor, book illustrator, printmaker, graphic artist, writer and teacher. His works are displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the British Museum, the Honolulu Academy of Arts and the Vatican Museums.
Eric Hopkins: Eric Hopkins is a native Maine painter best known for his watercolor aerial landscapes. At the Rhode Island School of Design, Hopkins studied glass blowing with Dale Chihuly and sculpture with Italo Scangathe.
Avy Clarie: Avy Claire divides her time between studios in Maine and New York City. In 1978, she graduated with honors from Carnegie-Mellon University. Her exhibit history extends throughout Maine, as well as to Philadelphia, Chicago, New York and Boston.
Frederick Lynch: Frederick Lynch is one of the few purely abstract painters living and working in Maine today. His work is critically acclaimed internationally, and he formerly taught at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham.
